The Great Big Enormous Turnip
Based on an old Russian folk tale, a little old man (grumpy old geezer!) and a little old
woman (nagging old bat!) hate the sight of each other! Then one day the little old man grows the biggest turnip in the world and the two set about trying to pull it out of the ground. Hilarity ensues as they, with the help of the audience, learn to work together. With aspects of mime, mask, Commedia del’ Arte and warped imagination, this tale will take you into the depths of the deep, dark woods and back!

Show Running time: 45 minutes
Suitable for kids aged 3 to 300

There will be a short workshop after the show, where the audience will learn to use their imagination and to creating a story from whatever you can. Expanding one’s imagination.  (run by the performers, and at no extra cost!)

Magic and Fun
An afternoon of fun magic and fun activities for the kids. Come along and enjoy the comic antics of Sim-Sila-Bim. Help Sim-Sila-Bim to find the lost Magical Wand. He could teach you a trick or two. “Hogwarts” comes to the Rhumbelow.

There will be a fun colouring in session after the show, where the children can colour in some fun magic pictures that they can take home. (run by the performer, and at no extra cost!)
