Andre The Hilarious Hypnotist is retuning to his birth place, yes it’s true, South Africa’s very own hypnotist was born in Durban which might explain his love for the city and it’s people.

Andre is returning for another unforgettable season filled with laughter and some strange moments in-between.  Known for being as iconic as melktert and braaivleis, Andre's show promises the ultimate family entertainment experience. Although Andre only hypnotises people older than 16, the show caters for all ages and children are more than welcome to enjoy the parents reacting in strange, weird and very often hilarious Suggestions.

Andre, began his career as a stage hypnotist over 30 years ago, and made his first stop in Durban in 1990, a very long time before the “Hilarious Hypnotist show” took shape. Since then, Andre has filled Theatre’s across the country and it’s neighbouring bourders.

Having showcased his talents in Australia, Andre has also performed in all of South Africa's neighbouring countries, and most recently in England. Andre credits the success of his shows to the fact that the performers are none other than the audience members themselves, who reside and work in the town where he's performing. Watching your friends and family behave in unexpectedly amusing ways is undoubtedly one of the most hilarious, side-splitting, and downright entertaining spectacles you can experience.

Andre who returns to VIA TV, a channel on the DSTV network with a second season of "Skaterlag met Andre" is a seasoned professional who has honed his skills over many years. At the base of Andre's success lies the belief that the audience is always the stars of every performance. Andre is a strict believer in recognising people for the contribution they bring to the stage and is quick to downplay his role in the evenings entertainment.

If you have a desire to obtain your first “five minutes of fame” or you just feel like laughing - a lot, then Andre’s show is going to be the must see show for the season.
